Remote log not updating after log rotation despite FTP log dialog showing download activity
I was monitoring a remote Apache access log via SFTP and, according to the FTP log dialog, the logfile is being fetched after midnight rotation but new entries are not displayed. I think the feature needs some attention and improvements.
It would also be great to be able to copy the text in the FTP log dialog.

In a filtered log, RMB and Go To in Unfiltered Log for a specific entry
If you are in a filtered log, you should be able to right mouse click on an entry and have a menu option that says: Go to Unfiltered.
The log would become unfiltered and the user would be placed in the unfiltered log on the record that they RMB on. Today if you find a record in the Filtered log, you have to denote the time. Remove the filters and then scroll to the time in the log to see what was happening. This is VERY time consuming.

Have filters remain until actively removed.
I would like the ability to have a filter remain in place (be sticky) between
sessions. Or possibly an ability to load a filter automatically via a command line expression.

Filter by Multiple Status Codes
I would like to be able to Include or Exclude by multiple Status Codes at once (e.g. via semicolon or regex) as is the case with some of the other columns.

charts that are for the whole log
i would like a pie chart of lets say IP address against bandwidth for the whole log. this will allow me to see all of the offenders eaier. I would also add hits.

add blacklist lookup facility
it would be great to check the IPs in the log against a blacklist to see if they are dodgy, and perhaps add somesort of filtering function in aswell

column charts need IP address (and other data) when you hover over the coloured segments
when you build a column chart and you have many entries you cannot figure out what segment belongs to what IP address becasue the colours are similiar.

Advanced Filter: Add drop down of all columns and allow user to select filter column
To the Advanced Filter ribbon, add a drop down list of all fields in the log file (inlcuding custom fields). Then let the user filter based upon the selected column.
When trouble-shooting, the custom columns are important and filtering on (at least one of them) can be very helpful. Especially since custom columns are not exportable (at this time).

Allow reordering of columns for the display
It would be helpful if you allowed the columns to be reordered in the display. This is especially useful for custom columns that get added at the far right. This could be done through preferences or for temporary reordering of the current display drag and drop column headings.

Status Code goes from Statistics to Report: Status Codes by hour
I like the Statistics | Status Codes Detail, but it would be extremely helpful to turn the "stat" into a report and Group by Hour. This would let a person see patterns in the status codes over days, hours (or weeks) or from a Filtered set of data.

Exclude request via right click
Right click on a log line, click Exclude => URL gets added to exclude filter.

I love your Knowledge base that comes up with ideas. I started to fill your contact form because I had a problem with Log Viewer and suddenly up popped the solution (truncate log files). So much more clever than forcing people to FAQs before the can access the contact form. Are you using a standard component (I would like it for our website)

Decoding of URL encoded GET and POST requests
Please implement decoding of URL encoded POST and GET requests in the log view. I was shocked to find that this function is not implemented.

Open logs by dragging on to the Apache Log Viewer window
I've just upgraded to v5.42 (from v3.41) and now I am unable to open files/logs by dragging the file from Explorer onto the open Apache Log Viewer window. It seems drag/drop is no longer supported.
This was my preferred way of opening files on v3.41 and worked great.

I was disappointed that custom columns are not included in Export function. Please add in next release.

Please add a "Reset List" button to the Toolbar
The Reset List option (in the Filter button) is great, and something I use all the time to make edits to my current Filter without starting over. Please consider adding it as a separate button on the toolbar for quicker access. Thank you.

Need option to Edit current Filter, and default to "Include" option
The filters are great, but it's a drag not being able to edit a current filter. Having to remove the filter, and then type in the new filter criteria each time (and select Include again) is annoying. Perhaps a simple fix would be to add an option to "Clear Filter (and Keep All Criteria displayed)". But an Edit Filter option would be the best. Thank you.
